QUALITY TECHNICIAN
Job Description
Responsibilities of Quality Technician:
-Run various specialized testing
-Ensure samples to be tested are handled in safe, precise and accurate manner
-Prepare and organize sample and testing solutions with accuracy
-Enter and maintain all testing records into specialized software, submitting and escalating results as needed
-Test incoming raw materials, in process materials and finished products
-records test results in spreadsheets and forms
-Troubleshoot and identify mechanical issues by performing checks on instruments, tools equipment
-Take inventory of supplies reporting materials needed
-Work with other employees within quality department as well as other departments
-Maintain a clean and safe work environment
-Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements of Quality Technician:
-Minimum high school diploma/ general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
-Previous experience with analytical equipment
-Excellent computer skills
-Knowledgeable of basic statistics and control charting preferred
-Superior attention to detail
-Able to work independently or in a team setting
-Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills
-Able to stand, bend, move and lift throughout shift
-Good hand dexterity
-Great verbal and written communication skills
Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $25.00-$26.00/hr
