Currently seeking a Quality Lead for a full time temporary to permanent position in Norwood, MA. This is a great opportunity with a world leader in electro-mechanical and cable assembly manufacturing.
Responsibilities of Quality Lead: -Work closely with Quality Manager -Supervise the inspection and quality control procedures for all quality control technicians -Inspect incoming materials, first article items, and finished products -Accept or reject items based on inspection results -Complete written and electronic report and logs of inspection results -Train and assist production employees on WHMA and J-Std Harness manufacturing and soldering quality standards -Calibrate and perform preventative maintenance -Assess and oversee support Customer RMA process, root cause investigations and corrective actions related to RMA -Continue to learn and train on new processes and procedures -Maintain a clean and safe work environment -Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements of Quality Lead -3-5 years experience in quality inspector role -Previous quality control supervisory experience preferred -Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 Quality System -IPC/WHMA-A-620 WHMA (Wire Harness Manufacturer s Association) quality criteria experience or certification preferred -Ability to read blueprints, diagram, models, and other engineering and manufacturing instructions/specifications -Excellent organizational skills -Able to multi-task and work in fast paced environment -Strong communication skills -Superior attention to detail -Great prioritizing and analytical skills -Able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50lbs occasional -Basic math skills -Good computer skills -Prior use of precision measuring instruments and test equipment
