Job Description

Currently seeking a Candidate for a full-time temporary to permanent Payroll position in Norton, MA

Responsibilities of Payroll:
-Handle employee and manager requests and inquiries related to pay, benefits, and human Resources
-Process payroll accurately and on time for approximately 450 employees using ADP Workforce Now
-Enter any payroll changes, voluntary deductions, garnishments and other deductions into system
-Process pay increases, bonuses, and commissions for employees
-Identify and resolve any payroll issues that may arise
-Maintain employee records in regards to both payroll and benefits information
-Reconcile and process 401(k) deductions, monthly benefit invoices, tax inquiries and/or discrepancies
-Create, manage, and distribute payroll and HR reports and records
-Review and process time off requests and balances
-Oversee annual open enrollment process and manage benefits eligibility and enrollments through out year.
-Work with insurance vendors and benefit brokers to resolve issues
-Conduct internal audits to ensure federal and state regulation compliance
-Perform additional tasks as assigned

Requirements of Payroll:
-Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent required, Associates Degree preferred
-At least 3-5 years ADP Workforce Now payroll processing experience
-3-5 years Benefits experience including Leave of Absence administration
-Knowledgeable of Federal, State, and local HR laws
-Possess knowledge pf payroll, garnishments, tax and wage laws, and benefits distribution
-Superior attention to detail
-Excellent mathematical skills
-Great computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
-Strong communication and organizational skills
-Ability to multi-task
-Ability to handle confidential information and situations

Hours: 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $28.00-$32.00/hr
