Responsibilities of the Marketing Coordinator:
- Assist in developing marketing and public relations materials for ongoing awareness activities as well as reactive media opportunities.
-Manage incoming calls, particularly media calls to ensure handled in a timely manner.
-Maintain marketing and public relations files of all materials disseminated to the public.
-Provide support for events both on-site and travel to conferences and conventions, as needed.
-Maintain schedules and production of publicity and promotional materials for special events, including trade shows, mission events, and other opportunities as needed.
-Coordinate exhibits for trade shows and conventions including booking space, advertisements and all on-site needs.
-Develop and provide marketing materials customized for each show as directed by show point person. -
-Assist staff during events and media opportunities.
-Maintain and monitor invoices and travel expense reports and ensure filed in a timely manner.
-Associates degree in communication or business is preferred, but not required
-Must have a working knowledge of marketing and public relations practices
-Work related experience from a marketing assistant position preferred
-Previous experience in event planning is required
-Strong MS Office skills
-Excellent skills in grammar, proofreading, and all standard functions of an administrative assistant.
-Bi-lingual preferred, English and Spanish
