PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Job Description

A World leader in the industry is currently seeking a Production Coordinator for a full time permanent position in Walpole, MA.

Responsibilities:
-Plan equipment and material requirements to execute production schedule
-Ensure assembly parts and process instructions arrive on the production floor as scheduled
-Communicate production status updates with various departments
-Review production processes for efficiencies and continual improvement
-Collaborate with Production Manager and Production Supervisor to review production plans
-Work in conjunction with the Engineering department to identify improvements by submitting engineering changes requests (ECR) and non-conformance reports (NCR).
-Review and implement process changes, identifying any production bottlenecks, equipment malfunctions or labor issues
-Compile reports on progress of work and performance including inventory levels, costs, delivery times and production problems
-Responsible for maintaining quality standards by inspecting and testing in-process and finished products to ensure conformance with specifications and codes
-Assist in working in the production floor when necessary to meet on-time delivery to customers


Requirements:
-At Least 3 years manufacturing experience
-2 years in supervisor position
-Experience with Cable Harness assembly preferred
-Understanding of IPC/WHMA-A-620, ISO 9001 and 13485 is a plus
-Experience with ERP/MRP processes systems
-great analytical and problem solving skills
-Lifting of 25 lbs regularly and 50 to 75 lbs on occasion
-Strong Computer Skills including Microsoft Office
-Excellent Attention to detail and organizational skills
-Strong communication skills

Hours: 8:00 am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $60, 000-$70, 000/year
