Responsibilities of Human Resource Assistant:
Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries
Provide helpful, positive customer service.
Prepare new hire onboarding packages
Assist with login information and resets.
Process workers compensation claims, files and correspondence
Ensure OSHA logs are up to date.
Assist with outsourced FMLA data and information
Provide assistance with correspondence, tracking sheets, and other database entries as needed.
Maintain personnel records
May assist with HR projects, job fairs, and reporting requirements. .
6 months to 1 year Previous HR experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook required
Professional in demeanor
Be able to prioritize work assignments and meet deadlines
Ability to maintain strict confidence regarding sensitive issues or matters.
Salary for the Human Resource Assistant is $20 per hour
