Responsibilities for the Calibration Technician:
-Maintain the calibration lab, calibration data base on all test equipment.
-Conduct internal calibrations and schedule external calibrations
-Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair inspection equipment when necessary.
-Accept or reject product based on inspection results.
-Manage and maintain the documentation of all calibrations and investigations
-Ensure that inspection equipment and gauges at each work station are correct and properly calibrated.
-Maintain a clean and organized work area.
-Analyze and interpret data and other information in order to complete calibration procedures.
-Perform inspections at various stages of production
-Understand and read blue print symbols and understand specifications and measurement procedures
-Proficient with common mechanical measurement tools and devices
-Must have good attention to detail and be able to multi-task
-Have excellent written and verbal skills
-Be able to work independently,
-Must be reliable, and committed
Salary of the Calibration Technician is up to $20.00/hour
