Job Description

A sheet metal fabrication company is seeking a Buyer for a full time permanent position in Sharon, MA right off of Route 1.

Responsibilities of Buyer include:
-Purchase materials, supplies and services
-Locate and negotiate with potential suppliers
-Make agreements and contracts for purchases
-Maintain ongoing relationships with suppliers
-Analyze weekly MRP netting reports, work orders and receive input from other departments to place orders in timely manner
-Expedite orders
-Work closely with production, engineering, sales, and administrative departments
-Provide current delivery information at production meetings

Requirements of Buyer:
-Experience with ERP/MRP systems and general business software
-Able to work independently
-Excellent organizational and muti-tasking skills
-Capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
-Self-starter
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Superior attention to detail
-Great problem solving and negotiations skills

Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $30.00/hr

In fact, Jessica is a proud member of DAR (Daughter of the American Revolution). Having grown up in Wisconsin, she has a love of country living, and peace and quiet. This is why when she’s not shopping or antiquing, she enjoys reading, playing the piano, relaxing on the porch, being outside in nature, or learning more about her family genealogy.
