Job Description

Job Title: HR and Payroll Assistant
An established and growing company in the Mansfield area is seeking and HR and Payroll Assistant. This role is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is hungry for growth and ready to learn multiple facets of a business. If you are a high energy individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment with superior attention to detail and a desire to learn, please apply! This is a full-time role working in our office 5 days a week. Bi-lingual Spanish skills are strongly preferred.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the Accounting Manager with the weekly processing of payroll.
Coordinates with managers to make sure timecards for their employees are accurately approved.
Assist employees with payroll related questions and discrepancies.
Process unemployment inquiries.
Maintain personnel files and perform employee verifications of employment
Responsible for distributing various management reports, as well as misc. Reporting when needed.
Provide administrative support to Operations and Human Resources.
Assist employees with general Human Resource and Payroll issues.
Performs diversified clerical and administrative activities
Provide lunch coverage and other coverage of the phone for the front desk receptionist.
Answer all incoming calls to the payroll department.
Skills and Requirements:
Proficient in MS Excel and MS Outlook.
0-3 years of work experience in an office setting.
Recent college graduates encouraged to apply.
Proficient in MS Excel and MS Outlook.
Must be detail oriented and highly organized.
Successfully work in a fast-paced work environment.
Must be proactive and solution oriented.
Bilingual skills in Spanish strongly preferred.
