A privately owned company is currently seeking a Controller for a full-time permanent position in Franklin, MA.
Responsibilities of Controller: -Work closely with CFO and other department heads -Prepare financial statements, reports and Analysis -Complete accounts payable and receivables tasks -Maintain the general ledger -Perform bank reconciliations -Monitor financial performance and ensure allocated budget is not exceeded -Prepare and file taxes in compliance with local, state and federal regulations -Utilized accounting software including QuickBooks to complete tasks -Provide support for company s network coordinating with external IT services as needed -Perform other related tasks as assigned
Requirements of Controller: -Minimum Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance or a replated field -At least 5 years experience in accounting or similar role -Strong computer skills including QuickBooks and other accounting software -Basic knowledge of Microsoft Server 2024 -Familiar of transportation industry preferred -Superior attention to detail -Well organized -Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment -Great communication and problem-solving skills
